When I requested information about the clamp
to hold the Dewalt DWP611 spindle motor the

The clamp is well made and installed very easily with no problems. Holds the router securely without moving.
Using the Harbor Freight Bauer router works as it should
I upgraded my spindle to a Makita trim router which has a different diameter than the stock spindle. This Z-clamp works perfectly.
Z-clamp fit perfectly onto the 4040-XE using a Bauer 1 1/3HP router head replacement. Larger clamp did however extend ~2in further in -Y direction requiring Y-axis limit switch stops to be moved to maximum extent limits.
PS: This was part of an upgrade to my 4040 which included waste board re-enforcement with extrusion rails. Experienced EXCESSIVE VIBRATION due to waste board deflection during Aluminum panel cutting. Waste board re-enforcement should be a priority on newer 4040 models.

But I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. The other sizes that came with the Masuter Pro though have been excellent and so I’m sure this one will be to when it’s needed.

It is the correct size and works with other CNC routers from China. I don't have a Fox Alien router but, it works perfect on my 4040cnc.
