The 118” cable only has enough length to route through the X axis drag chain, leave enough length for Y axis movement and still connect to the power supply connector. It needs to be longer so it can also be routed through the Y Axis drag chain and to the power supply connector, which is 4 inches away from controller/processor. It should match the length of the CL4x4 spindle wiring to be suitable for this machine. Additional wire wrapping and support (purchased separately and sourced locally) are now required to prevent eventual wearing down of the cable and to keep it free of the moving parts of the machine.
